Good questions
How much does it cost?
Every business is different, so we quote after the health check. Most clients pay a fixed monthly fee, plus a one-time cleanup fee if their books are behind. You see the quote before you commit to anything.
Do I need QuickBooks Online?
We work in QuickBooks Online and Xero. If you do not have accounting software yet, or want to switch, we can set up QuickBooks Online for you and move your records over.
What do I need to do each month?
Keep your bank and credit card accounts connected, snap receipts with the QuickBooks app, upload your statements by the 5th, and answer our questions. We send them once a week in a single email.
Who does the work?
Ledger Experts is based in Alberta, Canada. Your bookkeeping is done by our dedicated bookkeeping team in the Philippines, under written confidentiality and data security agreements, and every month is reviewed before it reaches you.
Is my information safe?
We only work through accountant access that you grant in your accounting software, so you stay in control. We never ask for bank passwords. Our files sit in secure company accounts with two-step verification, never on personal devices or accounts.
Do you file my taxes?
No. We keep your books accurate and prepare a year-end package, and your accountant uses it to prepare and file your taxes.
